That drop handle will surely fail at some point and good luck keeping that hard shell from snagging/catching on every sharp edge.
So far, so good. I've thrashed on it pretty hard for the past 3 yrs and no durability issues. I purchased a warantee for a few bucks when I bought it. Doesn't "catch" on anything, fits in the 73 Capt bag compartment perfectly.
As far as my old metal exoskeleton bag.... failed handle catch, bent frame, worn bearings, trashed hardwood floors. I had enough.
