Acutally, yes it did. Though it wan’t the case at the beginning, filing an ACE report had the effect of stopping the clock.

There is a reason MEC Alert 23-10 said "STS will not initially have the ability to auto-notify the company... when a pilot submits a report”. That’s because ACE *DID* have that capability (though the comm conveniently leaves that out). Go ask any scheduling committee volunteer.
