It’s great how something happens that is so egregious that a pilot goes straight to the FAA yet that pilot is the enemy……I somehow don’t think this pilot went to the FAA over some missed callouts. So let’s get more of the story before we start closing cockpit doors.
without naming names she apparently pointed something out that me as a capt would be glad she did. Going to the FAA not so much. Her picture and name is out there. I'm really bummed as an extra crew member she thought it necessary to tell the FAA over something that I'm sure has happened before. Unfortunately I will not tell what happened so I can't be sued but she did right in the cockpit, not so much after.
If you fly 121 long enough you will screw up at some point, more than once, I just hope you don't do it with a Jumpseater onboard who will turn you in to the FAA. Just sayin.
