I fly for SWA and anyone not on "the list" is welcome in my JS or any seat on the airplane. I probably average 1-2 United guys a trip due to where I am based. All comers are welcome. Let's educate the offender and move on.
And yeah, solving issues between pilots should start face to face and escalate from there. Going to the cops isn't a good look.
Huge thank you for your level headed outlook. I'm going to have to factor in the possibility of being denied the JS on my commute for a while due to the misguided actions of a single outlier. Every time I ask for SWA JS access I'm going to apologize upfront before admitting who I work for.

The irony is I'd expect the SWA crew to be just fine, as I'd bet the CVR and FDR were already overwritten by the time the FAA types could even finish their coffee. On the other hand, it is now probably dawning on the JSer in question that she is now sitting in a hot seat far less comfortable than the second Guppy jumpseat. She needs to seriously consider moving to base or finding employment with another carrier, as her commute options will severely constricted.
