Not sure how true it is, buts it’s circulating that the “violation” that happened was they were being vectored and told to slow to 210. FO pulls the spoilers and looks away for a second and before he knows it, the speed is below the UP bug. CA called for Flaps 5, they got them out and the rest was uneventful.

Ratting out a fellow crew, although at another airline, for an honest mistake that was quickly corrected, is messed up.

No remorse to the jumpseater when her name inevitably gets out and she is always getting turned down on Southwest, Delta and American alike.
