I can't believe we're going to start the "Junior captains are a danger to the airline" narrative while simultaneously ignoring the very senior captains who are responsible for two very high profile incidents as of late, and the one 'not that new of a hire captain' who let the garbage coach for the garbage baseball team in the cockpit.
It's called laziness. It's easier to just place blame on something like seniority, gender or age.
Everyone is able to make mistakes regardless of years in this industry. That's why complacency is so dangerous in this profession.
