I have to agree with that. A few weeks ago at recurrent, we were advised of the plans which included the extra flying for another carrier, in addition to attaining the 900's from you know who. The contract for the 900's expires in Sept. so staffing must begin now in preparation.
However that being said, it was mentioned that the plans do change almost daily especially with economic hits with oil prices. It as aso mentioned with the loss of Frontier flying the CEO for RAH may entice DAL to implement their 170's for a price as well. Many scenario's out there and the reality is that this BS oil scam is dictating on what direction everyone may go.
The only thing for certain is what happened yesterday so enjoy today. We are hiring and for that I guess we should be happy regardless if we get the 900's or not. Many airlines have gone down in just a matter of two months.
