along these lines, I got SOO ****ed at my FO a few weeks ago. 600 hours TT *****ing he has to sit reserve and that he cant pay of his $80,000 prestigious flight school loan. So he is going to declare bankrupcy to get around paying it. I asked him if he did the math before flight school...80,000 loan paid back at 20,000 a year salary...... He asked why I am so concerned, so I said it does concern me...when I want a student loan for myself or my kids I'm going to have to pay more for it cause of punks like you who default because they dont see the big picture. He can brag about buying a new $30,000 car tho, but can't pay back the people who gave him the opportunity for this job.

Here I am driving a 10 year old car, paying my bills, and still putting a couple dollars away each month on first year pay. Ohhhhhhh but then I paid for my training with the GI Bill, money saved from a second full time job my last 18 months of enlistment, and a part time job during training.
