That is a concern. We’ve been told that the issues with the A220 and PW are mostly related to the earlier delivered models/engines. But we are getting spare A220s from Egypt. I think it was 8, possibly 12 for the engines and spare parts. First one is already coming this month.
I never thought of that business strategy. Buy brand new airplane with problems, then buy used relatively new airplanes to use as parts birds. It’s genius.
