If that is true then he wouldn't have my vote. But I feel like the true supporters of the 23.M.7 settlement agreement (the 9 same voters in every 9v8 vote) want you to believe that he orchestrated the entire deal.

I would think out of anyone, SK would have seen the weekly ACE payouts that were netting the pilot group $50-$100k PER batch size violation (in the bigger categories). In addition, every single trip that the company was invoking 23.M.7 was paying out 3x the trip value to the pilot group as a whole. And we got what for that again? Oh yeah --- a report that is completley worthless.

Newsflash --- had an arbitrator ruled against us in the 23.M.7 agreement (where the company gets to invoke that provision farther out than we wanted) --- the pilot group still would have won. Batch size violations + 3x per rotation covered. Have at it Delta! Invoke that provison as you see fit. Why were we so scared of that idea?! Delta's hands were completely tied with the very small batch sizes we NEGOTIATED FOR. Did batch sizes need to be INCREASED? Yes - ABSOLUTALY 100%! There is/was a sweetspot somewhere between what we had and unlimited (what we have now) with regards to batch sizes. We even negotiated in C2019 for the ARCOS working group to approve an increase to batch sizes. What's crazy is that we hadn't even invoked 2nd day coverage (24 EXTRA HOURS to COVER CURRENT OPENTIME) prior to giving away the farm with the agreement.

Delta was INSANE to sign off on batch size restrictions as they did in that original COVID LOA. But they did, and it became part of our contract. I honestly don't think we will ever have that much leverage again. We held the golden ticket and this MEC gave it away for nothing. Anyone who was part of that deal should NOT be part of this MEC.
