I have the feeling that the original poster might be brand new to the industry, and regardless of what he says, anyone who's been doing this for a while knows that management toying and manipulating the work force is NOT JUST LIFE!

Everyone knows that the industry is cyclycal, however; dismissing the byproduct of it as JUST LIFE, is a very unrealistic and naive way to view our profession.
