Listen, from my perspective (again, maybe it's only me) we are all in this crapper of a time together. Time has shown that the economy will go up and down, jobs and fortunes will be created, lost and transferred. That's life. Let's do our jobs with professionalism and dignity. Things will get better (but the best advice I ever got was to get an education and make sure to have a skill to do besides flying). I'll shut up now.
true in our industry and along with several other industries as well. theres some industries out there that are a lot worse off than ours. for example, in my hometown there's a gm plant that builds 10 mpg chev suburbans and tahoes. they nixed one shift and theres talk about closing down the whole plant because no one is buying these cars. theres several other companies in the area that supplement the gm plant such as lear corp which makes dashboards and other plastic parts. they just laid off several people........ripple effect continues. that is just one example. hopefully it will all turn around.
