Generally, the company will argue that a loss of control close to the ground (e.g. botched missed approach, go around, etc.) or shutting down an engine when not part of a QRH procedure is gross negligence. Those are the only situations in which I know of crews who were fired. If that’s not what happened to you, I am sorry, and it would seem like quite an anomaly to hear what happened to you.
