I don't necessarily have a problem with a less conservative preloaded number. What I find frustrating, at least in certain circumstances, is when ALL the WDR calculated tailwinds are 0-3kts with a 7-10 kt nearly direct crosswind.
I find the default number is often too tight to use. 0-2kt buffer and the "full" power number gives 5kts buffer. Then a WS gives 10kts. I wish we had a bigger buffer on the default since we're often using the full blow.
