Interesting. been here almost 10 years and have never once had a metering freq in ATL. They need onto use one every day of the week. It works amazingly well in numerous high density airports. ORD is one that comes to mind.
This. We should never have to call ground leaving the ramp.
(I’ve been here just over 10 years and they used it a good good bit when I was brand new)
