In regards to this absolutely wild speculation it would be pretty good 3D Chess if Sunny used Amazon's money to stand up the A330 program then transitioned to passenger service. That should be a long term plan though because as far as I can tell we are quite late in this particular demand cycle so it's probably a poor time to throw additional capacity at already over served routes.
Sun country has a form of hot reserve and it pays very well. Pilots jump at the opportunity to do it if it comes available. The trip pays generally off a 3.5 rig or a 5 hour min day. Then on top it pays 5 hours for each reserve period. If you do end up flying it pays premium based on the daily premium rate. It's been as high as 250% in the last week for captains.
