Serious question. Won't twenty freighters have done that already? Perhaps part of the plan this spring... Almost has to be. Operationally, we can't run twenty freighters with Minnie pilots alone. On any given day we'd have perhaps 40 crews DH'ing somewhere btw AFW, LAL, & CVG. I'm hopeful our new VP of Ops is bringing some charisma towards opening pilot bases with a stalwart (and occasionally stubborn) MEC. What could be better for this group in the short term?

My guess is a base in MKE. Basically build an operation like we have here in MSP over there. Doesn’t help the freighter stuff but gets planes out of MSP and probably a decent market for leisure travel.

Those 330, and 767 rates should be re negotiated in the next contract. My guess is widebodies are still at least 5 years away at a minimum.
