Ok, I guess olympic has really motivad you guys to go to Europe. Just be aware that most of the airlines in Europe require Type rating, if you are a low timer. Be aware that SIC type rating does not exist in Europe. The cheapest type rating you can get for a 737 NG in Europe is Around 17000 Euroes, much more expensive than the US. This is becaue in JAR country you do 6 takeoffs and landings in a real airplane. The pay is much better in Europe then in US.

and one more thing, I talk to my friend that flies for Sterling in Denmark (and yes you need to speak swedish or danish to work for them) he mentioned that hiring has slow down in europe as well.
