It's not crazy to expect someone who is about to be given the sole responsibility of an airliner and people's lives to have a little experience being the PIC of an airplane. Being in an aircraft alone and being solely responsible for making the decisions that effect the outcome of the flight will do them some good. I think it should be higher than 250.
