The only reason they get away with that is because our contract is min duty period. If it touches a day, it should pay accordingly.
They can probably just change to a later departure time after midnight so the net gain will be nothing. That issue has been high on the list so the change is probably coming in the next contract but I don’t think it will be as rewarding as we all hope.
