It would not be fair. However comparing professional FE's that do not have pilot bid rights on a different seniority list then the Pan Am pilots is a different animal then your example. Keep in mind they only came over at all when Delta agreed to take almost 200 more Pan Am airmen then the jobs they brought with them. Your method is however exactly what AMR did to the Reno pilots.
