They're going to pull every lever they can to lessen the impact of this contract, up to and including willfully violating the contract and wage theft via not fixing known and glaring issues with our pay. All this to say, this does not surprise me that they're just not choosing to "re-interpret" the language after they don't like the consequences of the contract.
