Those things are obvious. If that's is all they are finding, the FAA has failed IMO. I hope i'm wrong. Flight ops need's some standardization of it's own. If CHEP can't see that, then the FAA is failing the public.
I’d never expect anything better from the FAA. With the exception of very, very few guys, they’re completely lacking the ability to do proper oversight of what we do. That’s why their findings are ridiculous minutia. Government guys are normally the dumbest ones in the room. Look at TSA, Boeing “oversight”, etc… these FAA guys could never change seats with you and do the job. They would drown, quickly.
