reading through the contract it doesn’t seem they have much language to justify denying a SC to a senior pilot who’s YSed them assuming they give that SC to any junior pilot in the same bucket (even if the senior guy has 6 SC already), as they don’t want to shell out 2 (3?) hours of pay for them.
Should I just keep YSing SC, get denied, and hope for some pay out when/if the issue is grieved by the union?
Yes....submit YS, get denied, submit pay inquiry, get denied again, submit STS (must include pay inquire case number), and then wait for the money to rain down 6-9 months later.
