Have you tried reaching out to your reps? There was just an MEC meeting in Atlanta and generally they get briefed by the scheduling comittee and contract admin about new and ongoing greivances.
The problem with greivances is the RLA. Not a quick process. My reps have said the refusal of additional SC periods is being greived but since this is something that just started, it's probably really early in the process. I wouldn't be surprised if it's getting pushed to the front of the line for a mediation board though.
