It's true....SRH page 80 / 81 states:
"At any point prior to the end of the two-hour period, the pilot may inform Crew Scheduling that they are now available for contact
or check their schedule and, if no assignment has been made, will then be required to be “promptly available” as described above.
SRH carries same weight at the PWA.
