There are clear benefits for commuters and locals alike to exercise their negotiated non-contactable benefit. After CS observes enough of us exercising this contractual right, how long before they proceed to the next step of this cat and mouse game? Maybe they start exercising their contractual right to extend our short calls. Now instead of 6 hours, they assign 8! Or 12!
I'm not suggesting we "walk on eggshells" to avoid escalation. I'm merely envisioning some type of punitive response typical of management.
They are aleady assigning (still) some 9 hour SC's, so....
