I dont' see that happening because regardless of NC or not, the RAP starts at the same time, therefore we run out of FAR117 usefullness at the same time.

SC's used to be 12...then company said we were not very useful in the last couple of hours so they cut it down to 9 on their own....the 18hr LC is a major factor (IMO) on the current 6 hour SC...it allows scheds to assign a pilot a certain time slot, say 1000-1600, then if not used, give them 18 hours notice to start another 1000 SC the next day.
