With all of the airlines that have closed this year and Frontier, Spirit, Freedom, Mesa, AirMidwest possibly going out soon, along with slow downs in hiring at even the large commuters you believe that it would be prudent to walk away from one of the only commuters who might have an actual flow through in the next 2 years? In case you haven't noticed things are a bit rough out here. I know that you can easily make more money at Lowes or Home Depot but what if you really like flying?
I see your point and I have also met pilots from Mesa and others who have come to my airline after a couple of years, but, I have to tell you you can't count on the flowthrough thing. I just attended a joint NWA/DAL presentation on the merger and how it will affect them, and the NWA representative said the flowthrough has not been negotiated yet so it may or may not stay after the merger, can't say for sure.
