Yea our management doesn't appear to be stalling as much as our union seems to be pushing the brakes on some stuff. basically, management is saying that they cannot agree to significant scheduling rules until the union gives them proposals on scope, compensation, retirement, etc.

Basically, management wants to see the whole enchilada that the union is asking for before they agree to any scheduling rules (our scheduling is broken). Union is saying no way. NC is saying that management has to agree to scheduling rules, etc. before they start talking rates and retirement.

consensus imo on the line is that mommy and daddy are fighting and it is screwing us line pilots because it is distracting us from getting a deal done sooner.
I wouldn't say that's the concensus. Most people I fly with see it as the union negotiating in good faith and the company isn't. I wouldn't call that "mommy and daddy" arguing.
