OK - Actual reserve question here. I have 3 days of a carry in trip and 3 days of CQ in January. If I understand the rules correctly this will not affect my number of x days but basically counts as 6 pre awarded work days. I ran the John Bell calculator and I think this is correct.
Am I missing anything here?

Your X days will not be affected. Also check for an extra X day in your cat. A lot of people will be getting 14 X days in January with the low ALVs and high reserve levels.
