as an aside (and it’s been discussed before) with the potential 48 hour reserve assignments, GFBs are especially stupid. If I’m sick I’m gonna wait until the night before to call in sick for a trip they assigned to me before a stretch of LC days. Maybe I’ll feel better the day before LC starts? But you gave me the trip 2 days out. I would be happy to do the assigned trip if I felt better but I already got it without an opportunity the day before reserve starts to call in sick. Do people bang out sick 2-5 days before a stretch of LC days starts?

as another aside, GFBs are stupid in general.
