Yep agreed. I've already filed 2 seperate crew assist pay claims citing the PWA references, both came back as "closed" with the already discussed here reasoning from CS'ing that is not correct. I also filed an STS last week as well. At this point and moving forward regarding this, I probably won't even bother to interact with CS'ing, per my initial discussion with the initial crew scheduler, then the CS supervisor, then our ALPA rep, and then to finish it off the two closed crew assist pay claims, it's not worth bringing CS'ing into the mix. For anybody who has seen this issue through to a pay-out, where are we seeing the additional pay? Time card, pay stub, PAS?
Yeah, I get that’s incredibly frustrating. I really like the idea of a delay penalty. If they deny a JS case, and it later gets approved via ALPA or FCR, it pays double, minimum. There must be a consequence to the company for what sure feels like a deliberate program to violate the contract, then avoid paying for it (because often enough, it works for them…)
