If no trip present when you call/check iCrew, you revert to "promptly available" with the undefined callout time, and would then also require a phone call for any assignment.
My plan would be to undo (via icrew or phone call) the Non-contactable status right before short call begins so I dont have to worry about a sneak trip being put on there. I would just monitor and wait for the "2 hour" call out once my SC starts.

Sceanrio I have in my head:

Assigned short call a day prior for 1400 the next day, immediately call in Non contactable after assignment.
Next day at 1355 i check schedule/call scheduling and say I do not need uncontactable status anymore.

I essentially take myself off the list of any open trips they have from 1400-1600. Might not be worth all the effort for a small percentage of trips but just want to make sure i understand the strategy.

And to come off the NC status all you must do is check your schedule iCrew? You dont have to speak with scheduling?

Thanks
