From the vacancy awards, the most junior DTW Saab CA is a December 2007 newhire. Another one on the same vacancy award was a November 2007 newhire, and that was awarded back in January 2008. Now that makes it less than 6 months. The further movement was spurred by the fact that Saab CA seat locks have been removed so many of them have upgraded to CRJ200s and 900s so left more Saab CA positions open for junior FOs to upgrade into. To upgrade at XJ all you have to have is the ATP and 1500 hours total time in fixed wing aircraft. I am not going to spend more time on this tiring subject.
