As was posted below reroutes tend to happen when something is going sideways like our big snow event. I was consecutively rerouted and due to just nightmares in the operation they were down to min rest. My fix for that is calling tracking and having them start my rest when I get into my room. That usually results in ten and change to 11 hour layover but it’s still short. This time I wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone since so many folks were calling in. My point of having an app based software is this could allow a lot of would be calls to be cleaned up and create some efficiencies. Downline it would probably be a huge benefit to other crews too, lotta ways to work around this. As for reroutes I’ve had 3 post new contract but I do my best to stay from work as much as possible. I’d imagine most folks aren’t getting rerouted enough to make a meaningful amount of money but that’s a number that everyone sees differently. Forums are where the vocal minority hang out so your results may vary.
