Saying the government is broken and we need to try something different ignores the fact that what we’ve seen so far is just chaos with no clear plan. If we want to fix the system, why don’t we go through Congress? If Trump is as effective a leader as he claims, he should have no problem getting his agenda through. I’d have no problem with that. Hell, I’m fine with RFK Jr., Hegseth, and anyone else in the cabinet. Hegseth got absolutely dragged through the mud and still made it out. But why is it that when it comes to Elon, they can’t let that same process run its course?

Trust me, I’ve seen government waste, and I want it gone too, but targeting career civil servants is low-hanging fruit. Even if you fired everyone, we’d still be trillions of dollars in debt. This is political theater, using civil servants as scapegoats to distract from real problems. If we’re serious about change, let’s talk about cutting aid to Israel and Ukraine, not wasting resources on endless foreign conflicts. Israel has a $500 billion GDP why are we still sending them money? They have a great universal healthcare system and some of the healthiest citizens in the world. Glad we’re bankrolling their war. Fighting a proxy war in Ukraine is draining resources that could be better used at home as well. If you want to cut government spending, I’m on board, but pointing a rocket launcher at career civil servants and calling it something different misses the bigger picture.
