I had two days of CQ directly followed by 3 days of LC. So, crew scheduler cannot call me and leave me a voicemail on a CQ day indicating my SC (the SC was properly assigned) for the following day has been removed and I now have a trip reporting the following day in less than 18hrs, right?
CS can call and leave a voicemail whenever they want to. But you can confidently ignore it/delete if the call came when you’re not in a contactable status. And you are never in a contactable status before midnight at the end of a CQ day. And LC after a CQ day is not subject to the 10-18 hour assignment cutout.
tl:dr On a LC day after CQ, and unless you YS something, you have no obligation to accept any report prior to 1800, and no earlier than 18 hours after proper notification (after midnight).
P.S. since reserve assignments happen a maximum of 2 days out, and CQ is at least 2 days long, no scenario exists where you would ever be obligated to report before 1800 on a LC day right after CQ. Unless you self-acknowledged and/or YS something.
