I interviewed yesterday (still waiting to hear for class date or rejection...stated 7-10 days ) and they said nothing about hiring pools. They're looking to do a class every week in June and July about 50 each month then about 25 in august and slow down till the end of the year. There were a lot of relatively low timed people there. Even if you have low time it never hurts to interview and get experience. Worst case scenario, you're right back where you were before.
