Is it worth the expense of going to a job fair like NGPA?
Or are there so many guys ahead of me it would just be waste of $$$?
Curious to hear thoughts...
Here goes my sure-to-be-unpopular opinion. First of all, don’t go and use the money to buy BTC instead. Second, unless you actually identify with the particular group that runs the job fair I wouldn’t go. I believe in Karma. Don’t sell yourself out and you will be ok. Would you give your hard earned money to the same group once you get hired by your desired major? You’re better off using that time to pick up a trip and building more flight time. Trust me (some internet stranger), interviewers aren’t hiring based off the number of intersectional pilot groups you give money to just to tell you that they’re not hiring right now. When the hiring picks up again, your flying experience will count more and maybe the BTC will turn in to **** you money. Stack sats and flight time…much better investment.
