I have been thinking about this as well. At this point in time the best course of action IMO is to have more Union Meetings. We don't have real meetings. There are airport meetups , then some kind of family fun time. Nither is a real format to get anything done. We need better engaugement from the pilot group with standard meetings. no food (or just donuts eca) no alcohol just coffee and water. This will provide real face time with our Union reps, brain storming , and feedback from the pilot group ,but also a chance to give realtime concerns about line operations. There is a need for more fequent meetings as well. One of the problems I have is there might one meeting in Florida every three months but two involve a 5-8 hour drive and the likelyhood of being on a trip or able to attend is very low. Not for lack of want ,but other obligations. I would like to see a meeting in every base at least every other Month. So we can get everyone up to speed and on the same page. Relly anything would be better than throwing Ideas at some anomious internet board and hoping if the stars alighn something will change.
