Earlier this month, Mesa filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia to prevent Delta from terminating the agreement. A court hearing is set for May 27-29, and Mesa said it expects a ruling when that is completed.
How the judge rules on May 29 will dictate where this Mesa thing is going. If the judge rules in favor of Delta, I'd say we are in good shape to pick up the flying but if he/she rules in favor of Mesa, I think you will see our hiring plans change the next day. Sucks for the Mesa pilots but life hasn't been exactly rosy here for the past few years either.
