Surprised Allegiant isn't snapping them up. When I was there we were pulling parked airplanes out of the jungle and even grabbing former Aeroflot jets that smelled like a dirty ashtray. But those hoopties were paid for with cash!
United bought some old easyjet cfm 320s. They never flew the line but we used them for for parts and they apparently became very profitable in that regard. I’m sure these airplanes will keep the older portion of fleet flying.
