I certainly had
many a forum/FB disagreement with Curly before he retired. But he runs a good and useful website, and is responsive to feedback. He continually improves it.
The company knows full well what he is doing, and has blessed his activities. I honestly don’t see the issue with a retired pilot having password-protected access to the SL and AE lists.
I never flew with him, but know several people who said he was great to fly with, and were surprised he was so different online.
