Question about the Apex Avionics.



I miss the top of descent. If I missed the TOD and arm VNAV it will go up to 8 degrees nose down to capture the path…correct? It will even overspeed correct? Yet, if I use the SPD button and leave VNAV armed I can set the speed I want and pull the power back. With power back and in SPD and VNAV armed, once I descend to the path it will capture…correct?
