Yeah, but I bet your buddy didn't factor in the cost of living in Tokyo. Not that it's a bad contract or anything but just to add some perspective to his figures. Commuting is allowed but I wouldn't do a transpacific commute just to get to work. It's not like the NCA 744 contract where you could eventually get domiciled at SFO.
Japan's an awesome place. I just wish it wasn't so expensive..
