A plan would be something like "We're going to tweak the network to more underserved markets for a period of time and see what that produces and what changes we see coming from the competition."
Or, "given our market prognosis for the next 6 to 9 months, we're looking into obtaining the aforementioned first class seating a little earlier (towards the summer) to capitalize on softening luxury demand by enticing traditional first/business class domestic travelers to give us a try."
Or, "we're adding wifi because it's SORELY needed and has been for a while"
Or maybe 50 other actual moves. Doing the same ULCC thing and expecting a different result may be lucrative (or it may not). But the one thing that we all know is that if you're not innovating, you're retrograding.
