Not a SWA guy I am guessing. Think easy...hotels that specialize in crews. Late checkouts, free shuttles, free food. If you work somewhere that likes to sit reserves and cost is going to be a factor then maybe ask around there about crash pads. The only base at SWA that really has traditional cash pads is MDW. Others have a few here and there, but they are often either inhabited by FAs (red flag) or private rooms (expensive).

Any pilot who uses a crash pad at SWA is either in a private room situation or is a cheap bastard. Every base has some hotel deal under $100.
This is the correct synopsis on all fronts.

Get the job, then figure the rest out.
