Don't forget that the Union also negotiated a contract that allows the company to cram more flying down on the same number of pilots, increasing their efficiency at the cost of pilots who will not see that reflected in their paycheck (i.e. more efficient use of reserves means they are using more of that monthly min effectively). This is also part of the reason we saw hiring numbers drop from initial projections the last two years. It is not all because of aIrCrAfT dElIvErIeS. So not only did it negatively impact pilots on property, it kept some potential new pilots off property. We took a big L on this and it is amazing how many people here are blind to this.
