And it would only work if they remove all of their influence from it... no union protections, not idiotic rate rules for 1st class mail, no laws prohibiting competition, and no other micromanaging from the government. In other words if Congress completely divests the USPS from the government and allows a true free market in labor and competition for 1st class mail, then it might have a chance to succeed. Otherwise it will be the same old crappile.
What problems do you have with USPS? I use it all the time and have never lost anything in transit. Always works great. Also subsidizes remote locations like rural areas.
